The Bremen University of Applied Sciences is a public university of applied sciences, a university of applied sciences, located in Bremen, Germany.

  • In 1982 this university emerged from the merger of four universities of applied sciences: universities of technology, commerce, social pedagogy, social economics and psychology.
  • The university is spread over four locations, the central location of the main department and the Department of Social Affairs and Technology is located in Bremer Neustadt in Neustadtwal.
  • The Maritime and Economic Departments are located one kilometre northeast of the educational building where the School of International Business (SIB) is also located, which is part of the Department of Economics.

Where is the city of Bremen located

Bremen is a city in Germany, located in the north of the country, halfway between Hamburg and Hanover, Bremen and the city of Bremerhaven (or its advanced port), from which 57 km are the smallest federal states of Germany (Bremen), extending to the mouth of the Weser River.  

The city had a population of 544746 (2004), Bremen is the second port in the country after Hamburg and its most important imports are ores, cotton, wool, coffee, corn and soybeans.

  • The Shuting Building, located in the public market square, was the seat of the Council of Merchants in ancient times, and was built in the fourteenth century AD.  
  • The new city, which was affected during World War II, includes relatively modern buildings, shops and museums.
  • Since 1990, the city has had two universities, the University of Bremen, which was built in 1970 (more than 22,000 students), and the new International University of Bremen.  
  • There is also the famous Bremen Town Musicians statue in the city center which is visited by people from all over the world.
